Meet Megan
Helping you come home to yourself.
For a long time, I believed that leaving an unhealthy relationship would be the end of the story.
What I discovered was that sometimes, leaving is only the beginning.
I spent much of my early twenties in a relationship that profoundly shaped how I saw myself, what I believed I deserved, and how I approached relationships.
When that chapter ended, I began to realise that leaving a relationship doesn't necessarily mean leaving behind the beliefs, patterns and behaviours we develop along the way.
The self-doubt.
The patterns.
The triggers.
The difficulty trusting my own instincts.
The ways I had learnt to put other people's needs before my own.
It took time to understand how those experiences had shaped not only the relationships I chose, but the relationship I had with myself.
And that understanding changed my life.
Today, I am in a happy, healthy and secure marriage, but getting here wasn't simply about meeting the right person. It involved learning to trust myself again, rebuilding my sense of self and understanding what healthy love actually looks and feels like.
That experience sits at the heart of Megan Josephine.
Psychological Coaching, Lived experience.
That curiosity eventually became something more.
Alongside my lived experience, I hold a degree in Psychology (BSc Hons), a CPCAB Counselling Level 2 qualification, and an Advanced Certificate in Coaching Practice, accredited by the Association for Coaching.
My approach brings these different perspectives together.
Psychology helps us understand.
Coaching helps us move forward.
And lived experience means I understand that real life is rarely as straightforward as a textbook.
I don't believe you need someone to tell you exactly how to live your life. I believe you need a space where you can understand yourself without judgement, become curious about the patterns you've developed, and learn to trust your own voice again.
My role isn't to give you all the answers.
It's to help you uncover yours.
My Mission
My mission is to help people rebuild self-worth, trust themselves again, understand unhealthy relationship dynamics, and create secure, fulfilling relationships.
Many of the people I work with are incredibly capable in the rest of their lives.
Yet when it comes to relationships, they find themselves questioning their instincts, overthinking conversations, struggling to set boundaries or repeatedly finding themselves in dynamics that leave them feeling anxious, confused or disconnected from who they are.
I want to help change that.
Our work isn't about endlessly analysing the past or telling you who you should become.
It's about understanding what has shaped you, recognising the patterns that no longer serve you and making real, lasting changes that allow you to move forward differently.
To trust your intuition.
To know your boundaries.
To feel secure on your own.
To choose relationships from a place of self-trust rather than fear.
And ultimately, to create relationships — romantic, familial, friendships and the relationship you have with yourself — that feel healthy, secure and fulfilling.
Because your past can help you understand your patterns.
It doesn't have to determine your future.
Come home to yourself.
You don't need to become a different person to create a different life.
Sometimes the most powerful work is finding your way back to the person who was there all along.
If you're ready to understand your patterns, rebuild trust in yourself and begin creating relationships that feel different, I'd love to work with you.
What I believe
I believe healthy relationships begin with the relationship you have with yourself.
I believe your intuition deserves to be heard.
I believe relationships require rupture and repair getting something wrong doesn't make a relationship unhealthy; what matters is our ability to recognize it, take responsibility and repair it.
I believe boundaries can be compassionate.
I believe healing isn't linear, and sometimes what we need most is time rather than another technique or quick fix.
And I don't believe people or relationships can simply be divided into lists of red flags and green flags. Human beings are more nuanced than that. Behaviors can be information, a warning system that helps us reflect and decide what is right for us.
